Portlet Details

Portlet Details contains information about the Z and I Emulator for Web portlet and the Portal Credential Vault.

Portlet

This window contains the following optional fields that you may configure for the Z and I Emulator for Web portlet. The default portal locale is the same as the system locale that is used when running the Deployment Wizard, and the values of that locale are displayed. Note that the Portal administrator may change these fields once the portlet has been installed.
Modify the Title and Short Title to help you distinguish between multiple portlets when installing them in a WebSphere Portal environment.

Title: Specify a title for the portlet.

Short Title: Specify an abbreviated title for the portlet.

Description: Provide a description of the portlet.

Keywords: Provide keywords associated with your portlet.

Portlet API: Specify the Portlet API to use. Options are as follows:

Credential Vault

Note: You cannot use Credential Vault with the Java Portlet API. To use Credential Vault, you must select the IBM Portlet API in the Portlet panel.

Configure the following options if you are using the Portal Credential Vault for Web Express Logon:

Use Portal Credential Vault: Select this option to allow Z and I Emulator for Web to retrieve the user credentials from the Portal Credential Vault. This option is only valid if you have not entered an address in the Credential Mapper Server Address field in the Express Logon window of session properties. For more information about Web Express Logon in an IBM WebSphere Portal environment, refer to the Web Express Logon Reference.

Portal Vault Slot ID: Specifies a string that is prepended to the Portal Credential Vault Slot name retrieved by the Z and I Emulator for Web portlet. The Portal Vault Slot name is made up of the slot ID, the host name, and the application name, which you specify when you record the Web Express Logon macro. The default value is HATS.

Portal Vault Slot Type: Identifies the Portal Credential Vault Slot Type retrieved by the Z and I Emulator for Web portlet.

WebSphere Portal supports the following four types of vault slots:

Z and I Emulator for Web does not provide any tools for manipulating vault slots. Refer to the WebSphere Portal documentation for more details.
