Tables

Table types

Select the types of table that you want to be able to access in the SQL Wizard and the File Upload Wizard.

• Table
• View
• System table
• Alias
• Synonym
• Global temporary
• Local temporary

To specify a different value:
In the SQL Wizard (or in the File Upload Wizard): Click the Tables tab (Table tab). Java 1 browsers: Click Filter table(s). Java 2-enabled browsers: Click Filter Tables. Select the values you want.
You can specify a different value for the following types: Table View System table

Table Filter

Type a comma-separated list of schema names, schema filters, table names, and table filters. This list specifies the schemas and tables that you want to appear in the List of available tables on the Tables tab of the SQL Wizard (or on the Table tab of the File Upload Wizard) after you log on to the database.

This Table Filter field is one of several levels of filtering for the list of available tables (see Level 3. Default value for new SQL and File Upload statements for this user).

To specify a different value:
In the SQL Wizard and the File Upload Wizard: Click the Logon tab. In the Table Filter field, type a comma-separated list of schema names, schema filters, table names, and table filters.
