Accessibility troubleshooting checklist

1. Do you lose focus in Z and I Emulator for Web when closing windows?

If you lose focus when closing windows in Z and I Emulator for Web and are forced to use the mouse to move focus from the browser back to Z and I Emulator for Web, try upgrading your JRE.

2. Does the Z and I Emulator for Web applet lose focus when you switch between windows?

If you launch a Z and I Emulator for Web applet in a browser, press Alt+Tab to switch to another window and then switch back to the browser window, the Z and I Emulator for Web applet does not regain focus. To fix this problem, upgrade to the latest JRE.

3. Are the tabs at the top of the Z and I Emulator for Web Admin page not being read?

If you use the arrow keys to move between the different tabs, the tab that is selected is not read. To ensure the tabs are read, use the tab key to move from one tab to the next.

4. Does Internet Explorer crash when changing tabs with JAWS?

Occasionally, when you are running Jaws, Internet Explorer will crash when you change tabs using the keyboard. This can occur with both the SUN and IBM JRE. To avoid this problem, use the Back and Next buttons or the mouse to change tabs.
