Introducing the ZIE Host Access Toolkit

The ZIE Host Access Toolkit consists of the following application programming interfaces (APIs):

Host Access Class Library API
Host Access Beans for Java™ API
Z and I Emulator for Web Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Connector API

Programmers can use these APIs to write:

Custom applications that run with the HCL Z and I Emulator for Web product (Z and I Emulator for Web); or
Custom host-access applications that run standalone.

The ZIE Host Access Toolkit is available on the DVD-ROM that is shipped with the Z and I Emulator for Web product. This DVD-ROM contains all of the ZIE Host Access Toolkit programming API's and documentation necessary for writing ZIE Host Access Toolkit applets and applications.
