Automatic encryption during macro recording

During macro recording, for 3270 Display and 5250 Display sessions only, the Record Password option controls how Z and I Emulator for Web records an input key sequence typed into a 3270 or 5250 non-display field.

If Record Password is enabled (the default), then Z and I Emulator for Web automatically records such an input key sequence as an Input action with an encrypted input key sequence. If Record Password is disabled, then Z and I Emulator for Web records such an input key sequence as a Prompt action. For more information see Record password.
